Dog Bag Dispenser Locations
The Council has changed to certified compostable dog poo bags!
Unlike degradable and biodegradable plastic bags, our parks now have compostable bags which contain no plastic.
You can identify a compostable bag by the compostable certification seed symbol. Place your used bags in the bins provided or in your green lidded bin at home.
City of Prospect has provided multiple doggie bag dispensers throughout the community. See below for dispenser locations.
These dispensers are maintained and refilled by Council. If you notice a dispenser is empty or damaged please contact Council on 82695355 or via admin@prospect.sa.gov.au
Under the Dog and Cat Management Act, all dog owners are required to clean up after their dogs. Penalties apply to those who don’t.
If you wish to collect a bag to clip onto your lead to store these doggies bags in while walking your dog, please feel free to collect one from our office at 128 Prospect Road, Prospect.
