Community Bus
Residents of City of Prospect are eligible to use these community bus services as an ongoing participant or when needed.*
These services are coordinated by our qualified team members of Prospect Community Support and assisted by our dedicated volunteer bus drivers and bus assistants.
Payinthi / Library Visits
Book now to be part of this door to door service to and from Payinthi Library. This service gives you the opportunity to browse through the library, to borrow books, magazines, newspapers and DVDs, and explore the Newmarch Gallery to catch the latest exhibitions.
Available every Tuesday, arriving at the Library at 10:30am and departing at 11:45am.
Door-to-Door Shopping
If you need assistance with travelling to the shops for your fresh food and grocery shopping, postal or banking needs please call to book in.
This door to door shopping service operates on Tuesdays and Fridays to Northpark Shopping Centre on the corner of Main North & Regency Roads. With more than 40 stores in one location, this welcoming centre offers a convenient place to shop or simply enjoy catching up with friends over a coffee. This service offers you 1½ hours in this shopping centre.
Times for pickup vary from 9.00am depending on numbers and availability. Due to limited space on the buses, there is a limit of 2 shopping bags or 1 personal shopping trolley per person.
For the Payinthi Library and Shopping Services please note -
- Bookings are essential as seats are limited.
- We suggest a donation of $3 for each service.
- The buses have capacity to carry mobility aids – limits apply.
- These services are available for City of Prospect residents only.
- A Community Bus Registration form is required to be completed prior to access on the buses.
