Community Support

In response to the global COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic, some of Community Support program have been suspended.

Council cares for its community and this change of service comes as part of our local response to this global issue.

Residents of Prospect or Walkerville Council areas over the age of 65 may be eligible to access a range of subsidised services which are funded by the Australian Government Department of Health. If you’re 65 or older and registered with My Aged Care, you might be able to access subsidised home support services and social programs.
