COVID-19 update

City of Prospect has taken a number of important and proactive steps to protect our community and staff as we face this unprecedented situation of the global COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic and the nationwide Public Health Emergency.

We need to take all reasonable steps available to protect our community, our Elected Members, our staff and volunteers (and their families) against the spread of this infection while ensuring we deliver services as close to ‘business as usual’ as possible.

Justice of the Peace

The Justice of the Peace service has currently been suspended in response to the global COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic.

Council cares for its community and this change of service comes as part of our local response to this global issue.  Naturally, we apologise for any inconvenience caused but trust you understand this position.

You can locate a Justice of the Peace in your area by searching the Attorney General Department's database.

Local Justices of the Peace volunteer their time to provide a free JP Service to the community.

Available at 128 Prospect Road, Prospect.

It is advisable to phone our customer service team on (08) 8269 5355 to confirm that a JP will be available at the allocated time.
