City of Prospect has taken a number of important and proactive steps to protect our community and staff as we face this unprecedented situation of the global COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic and the nationwide Public Health Emergency.

We need to take all reasonable steps available to protect our community, our Elected Members, our staff and volunteers (and their families) against the spread of this infection while ensuring we deliver services as close to ‘business as usual’ as possible.

Immunisations

COVID-19 and immunisation services

As the COVID-19 situation continues to evolve in Australia we would like to update our clients on how we are managing COVID-19 and its impacts. In light of these extraordinary circumstances, EHA has decided that all drop-in clinics will now be appointment only.

Burnside, Campbelltown, Walkerville and Prospect clinics will only be operating at EHA Offices, 101 Payneham Road St Peters for the foreseeable future. Your existing appointment time will be honoured at the St Peters venue only.

Eastern Health Authority (EHA) provides free immunisation services to residents on behalf of City of Prospect.

EHA provides vaccines recommended for children and adults on the National Immunisation Program (NIP) to people with a current Medicare card. EHA also provides the School Immunisation Program (SIP) and adolescent catch-up programs for students in / residents of EHA council areas. Annual flu vaccination, including adults and children eligible to receive free flu vaccine under the NIP, is also available.

During the past two years, City of Prospect residents have been invited to attend EHA’s St Peters clinic while the redevelopment of Payinthi was in progress. Due to COVD-19 restrictions and until further notice, Immunisation services are available on the second Friday of the month (excluding public holidays) from 10am – 12.00noon by appointment only at 101 Payneham Road St Peters – visit www.eha.sa.gov.au/booking/start to make an appointment online or call 8132 3600
