Capital Works
A large portion of our rates goes towards capital works, the projects that improve our streets and amenities, and make our neighbourhoods function better.
Each year a program of works is prepared based on replacing infrastructure at end of life in accordance with the Council’s Asset Management Plans.
In 2023/2024, Council allocated $4.2m towards transport infrastructure renewal. The map below shows all of the locations where we will be upgrading your streets this financial year.

- Green streets are having footpaths renewed
- Yellow streets are being resealed
- Blue streets are getting kerb and gutter renewals
- Purple streets are getting patched (sections requiring attention are replaced).
If you click on the name of the street in the left-hand menu, you will get more detail on the works planned at that location.
