In late 2019, Prospect Gallery will move into an outstanding new space on Prospect Road and become the Newmarch Gallery. Like Prospect Gallery, Newmarch Gallery will be a high quality, contemporary exhibition space run by City of Prospect with a strong community focus.

10th Prospect Portrait Prize Applications Now Open 

The 10th Prospect Portrait Prize is a juried exhibition. Prospect Gallery invites contemporary approaches to portraiture. We seek the artists’ unique interpretation of the subject.

The high quality exhibition space aims to deliver a diverse program of innovative exhibitions and creative experiences that supports its role as a contemporary public gallery with a longstanding community focus. At its core Prospect Gallery overseas a collection of outstanding civic artworks that reflect Prospects’ vibrant history of arts programs and initiatives, community art and activism.

Prospect Gallery is run by City of Prospect and is a high quality, nationally recognised exhibition space. The diversity of its exhibition program reflects its role as a contemporary public exhibition space with a longstanding community focus.

Exhibitions include solo and group shows across a range of media, supporting both emerging and established artists.  The Gallery's calendar includes the biennial Prospect Community Art Show  and the prestigious Prospect Portrait Prize staged in alternate years.
