Venues and Hire Spaces
If you’re looking for somewhere in our community to do anything, from hosting a function or meeting, through to running fitness classes, or launching a special event, indoor or outdoor, then we have plenty of options for you to consider. We are now 100% online for our bookings through SpacetoCo, and you will be able to search rooms, parks, venues, availability, rates and much more.
128 Prospect Road, Prospect
Located in the heart of Prospect, this brand new facility opened in October 2019 and encompasses our Council services, as well as the Prospect Library, Eliza Hall (Prospect's original Town Hall), Newmarch Gallery, local history collection, numerous meeting rooms and plenty of space to study, work and socialise.
Payinthi is our community’s home base and we welcome regular or one-off bookings in our meeting rooms, flexible function areas and the stunning event space facing Prospect Road. We cater for everything from small meetings of just two people in our community meeting rooms through to functions of up to 200 people in the Payinthi Event Space or Eliza Hall.
Do you love things for free?
We even have some small meeting rooms for community use during Library opening hours at no charge. So if you’re looking for study, work or meeting needs of up to 10 people, head directly to the following meeting rooms Broadview Meeting Room, Nailsworth Meeting Room and Dingley Dell Meeting Room. These are available for a maximum of 2 hours and bookable up to 7 days in advance.
Nailsworth Community Hall

Nailsworth Community Hall is nestled in a quiet street and is perfect for a range of community uses, situated alongside the very popular Pash Reserve. It’s perfect for regular hirers providing activities, social gatherings and meetings that promote an active and social lifestyle in our community. It has access to a comfortable size kitchen, tables and chairs, air-conditioning and off-street parking.
Our Parks and Reserves play an important role in the lifestyle of our families, as well as the positive impact they have on the amenity of our City. They are all free to access and provide a range of playgrounds and barbecues as well as access to facilities for recreational pursuits including tennis, skateboarding and ball sports.
Want to book a space within a park?
In addition, the parks are available for gatherings and have always been popular for birthday parties, milestone celebrations, weddings and events. Certain spaces within our parks are available for booking for a small hourly charge, giving you certainty to go ahead to plan and host your activity in a set location.

This will provide information about hire fees, capacity of the spaces, room features and much more! All of our bookings are now managed online, including availability of each space, making and managing bookings and all payments.
