Due to the discovery of an unexpected water leak around the Howards/Rosetta St Roundabout, we will need to pull the full road closure forward to start this Wednesday 10 April.

Following a series of multiple accidents and extensive doorknocking by Lucy Hood MP (Member for Adelaide), we have been investigating a concept design to improve the long-term safety of the intersection by installing a mini roundabout.
The proposed mini roundabout will reduce speed at the intersection and provide better pedestrian crossing facilities at the intersection, improving safety for all users including motorists, cyclists, and pedestrians. The concept design includes extending the kerb to slow approaching vehicle speeds, a pedestrian crossing and resealing the road surface surrounding the intersection. Additionally, there will be improved landscaped areas within the intersection.
As part of the construction, we understand there will be some disruptions. There will be temporary and staged road closures and detours implemented over the next few weeks, and residents directly impacted have been letterboxed.
