Christmas Closure

Payinthi (including the Council offices, Library and Newmarch Gallery) will close for the Christmas period from 1pm on Tuesday 24 December 2019 to Wednesday 1 January 2020 (inclusive). Payinthi will re-open on Thursday 2 January 2020.

Some Council services will be effected over the festive period.

Library items Due dates will be automatically extended until after the Christmas closure, and the after-hours chute (at the front entrance of Payinthi) will be open for returns across the holiday period.

Bin collection

There will be no collections on Christmas Day, Wednesday 25 December, collections will instead be on Thursday 26 December. All collections will move forward one day during this week with collections scheduled for Friday 27 December occurring on Saturday 28 December.

There will be no collections on New Year’s Day Wednesday 1 January, collections will instead by on Thursday 2 January.  All Collections will move forward one day from Wednesday, with collections scheduled for Friday 3 January occurring on Saturday 4 January.
