Mona Jamshaid is an educator, autism advocate, consultant and most importantly a mother to a beautiful autistic child. With a background in business administration and information systems, her personal connection to autism led her to do Masters in Autism Studies from Griffith University after completing a Graduate Diploma in Autism Studies.

She writes and advocates for autistic individuals and provides consultation on early intervention programs for autistic children. She believes spreading community awareness and education about autism is an important step to increase acceptability of autistic individuals in the society.

In this talk, she throws light on autism from the perspective of neurodiversity.
