DreamBIG in Prospect
Stars have guided, taught and inspired people for thousands of years, and in 2027 they take centre stage at DreamBIG Children's Festival.
Presented by Adelaide Festival Centre, it began in 1974 as Come Out Festival and is now the longest-running curated children's festival in the world.
The theme, 'Constellations', looks up at the night sky and out at the people around us, celebrating the invisible but meaningful ways we are all connected.
City of Prospect and Newmarch Gallery have been part of the festival for many years through our annual Local Schools' Exhibition, and next year we're also presenting Our Shared Sky, Footpath Constellations and a self-guided walking tour.
All events are free, with exhibitions open at Newmarch Gallery from Friday 7 May to Saturday 5 June 2027.
