He Said, She Said - Bringing the buzz north
After building a loyal following in Hyde Park, the team behind He Said She Said knew they wanted somewhere exceptional for their second location. So when a spot became available inside the Harrington complex on Prospect Road, they jumped at it.
Since opening in September 2025, the family-run café — founded by Nasim Said alongside his wife Natasha and brother Nizar — has quickly become one of Prospect Road’s busiest new spots, with locals flocking in for hearty food, great coffee and relaxed hospitality.
“We loved the sense of community in Prospect. It has a great mix of families, professionals and local businesses, and we felt the area matched the style and atmosphere we wanted to create,” Nasim says.
That sense of connection influences every part of the experience, from the welcoming service to the relaxed environment that encourages customers to settle in and stay awhile.
“Being family-run shapes everything we do and creates a more personal atmosphere for both staff and customers,” Nasim explains. “We want people to feel welcomed, relaxed and excited to be here.”
Although they knew they were onto a good thing, the team has been blown away by the response from the local crowd.
“The support has honestly been amazing! From neighbouring businesses to local regulars, people have welcomed us very quickly and made us feel part of the area from day one,” Nasim says.
While mornings are filled with customers grabbing their caffeine hit, the cafe quickly shifts into a buzzing brunch and lunch destination, with favourites including the pistachio French toast and the tamago bacon sando.
“Whether it’s for a quick coffee or brunch with friends, we want the experience to feel memorable,” Nasim says.
But he’s quick to add that the café is about far more than food and coffee.
“Neighbourhood cafes bring people together. They become places for meetings, catch-ups, celebrations or simply part of someone’s daily routine,” he says.
“One of the best parts of hospitality is seeing customers become regulars. We now have people we see almost every day — we know their orders, routines and even their families. That’s what makes it special.”
As He Said She Said grows, the team is determined to hold onto the community spirit that helped build its success.
“We’d love to continue growing while staying true to what people love about us — great food, good service and strong community connections.”
