Library

Prospect Library was opened in 1980 by late author Colin Thiele. It is housed in the heritage building of the former Nailsworth Public School built in 1881.

Thursday: 10:15am to 6pm

How to Join

Membership of the Prospect Library service is available free of charge.

To obtain a library card you need to provide satisfactory proof of identification - a photographic ID with your current address on an official document. If no photographic ID is possible, then two official documents with your current address are required to be sighted.

Your library card may be used at all SA Public Libraries.

If you are under 18 years, signature of parent/guardian is required.

To apply for Membership, and are not already a member of any SA Public Library, click on the link below and add your details, and come into Prospect Library to sign and pick up your library card.
