NAIDOC

NAIDOC Week celebrations are held across Australia each July to celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. NAIDOC is celebrated not only in Indigenous communities, but by Australians from all walks of life. The week is a great opportunity to participate in a range of activities and to support your local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community (Source : https://www.naidoc.org.au/about/naidoc-week).

The theme for 2020 is Always Was, Always Will Be and nationally the week has been moved to 8 - 15 November 2020 due to COVID-19. More information about NAIDOC Week history, activities and resources can be found at naidoc.org.au.
City of Prospect is planning a range of activities and events locally to celebrate NAIDOC Week 2020. As they are finalised, information and ticketing links will be listed below.

If you have any questions relating to NAIDOC Week at City of Prospect please email admin@prospect.sa.gov.au.
