| Description | Join us for an evening of blues and roots with a twist! Showcasing 3 fabulous exponents of the Cigar Box Guitar and other stringed instruments and members of Adelaide Roots & Blues Association (ARBA) Youth in Blues program. Suedan – is a duo comprising Sue and Dan Filmer, the pair features cigar box guitar, cajon drum, blues harp and vocals. They mostly play the blues but occasionally play originals inspired by Middle Eastern Music. Brett Littlefair – Brett is a true bluesman, recently winning the ARBA Blues Album of the year and he has kept a place in the Australian Blues and Roots Airplay Charts for over seven months. With millions of views online and latest release “Toetappin” has been endorsed by Steve Jones of Blues Blast Magazine USA. Chris Finnen – Chris is a multi-award-winning artist and South Australian Music Hall of Fame and New York Blues Hall of Fame inductee who plays a vast array of stringed instruments. He will educate and impress the audience playing his homemade “Fish” that has a lot of strings and a thumb harp to boot, six string banjo and cigar box guitars. This is going to be a fun night showcasing an array of unique instruments with distinctive sound and backstories. Tickets are $20 each from Eventbrite and your first drink is on the house!
