Casual Officer – Customer Service and Library
The role of the Casual Officer – Customer Service and Library, is to assist and support in the day-to-day operations of the Library and Customer Service Teams which are co-located services at a single site. The role is predominately focussed on call centre support in Council Customer Service and general circulation duties in the Library.
This role presents an exciting opportunity for the right individual to play an active role in the delivery of council customer services and library within an award winning library/civic facility on Prospect Road.
The preferred candidate will be a flexible and team oriented person who enjoys working in a service environment and has a passion for working with communities.
Your previous experience will equip you with a well-developed understanding about the importance of quality customer service that is welcoming, responsive and inclusive.

The right individual will have skills/experience in the following areas:
- Sound organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise workloads, and operate flexibly and as part of a team
- Excellent capacity to integrate information from a wide variety of sources and subject areas
- An ability to be flexible and demonstrate enjoyment in an environment of significant change
- Proven experience and/or demonstrated ability in delivering customer service face to face and/or via electronic means including telephone.
