COVID-19 update

City of Prospect has taken a number of important and proactive steps to protect our community and staff as we face this unprecedented situation of the global COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic and the nationwide Public Health Emergency.

We need to take all reasonable steps available to protect our community, our Elected Members, our staff and volunteers (and their families) against the spread of this infection while ensuring we deliver services as close to ‘business as usual’ as possible.

English as a Second Language Support

Our English as a Second Language Program has currently been suspended in response to the global COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic.

Council cares for its community and this change of service comes as part of our local response to this global issue.  Naturally, we apologise for any inconvenience caused but trust you understand this position.

Improve your English speaking, reading and writing skills with free group classes or individual tutoring at Payinthi!

Free group classes are held on Tuesdays during school terms from 10am – 12noon in the Irish Harp Room at Payinthi, 128 Prospect Road, Prospect, while free individual tutoring is available at various times during school terms in the Library itself.
