Community Grants Program

Are you a member of a local community group or organisation looking for support? Or are you the owner of a heritage-listed property looking to undertake a conservation project? Or perhaps you are a practising artist looking to produce public art?

If this sounds like you, we encourage you to apply for one of City of Prospect’s 2018/2019 Annual Grants. Applications open 14 July 2018, and funding is available in the following categories:

Grants of up to $5,000 are available to eligible groups and organisations.
Applications have closed

There are two $10,000 (ex GST) Grants are being offered to eligible groups and organisations and is the largest community grant program offered by City of Prospect.
Applications have closed

Small public art grants of up to $1,000 are available to eligible artists and groups delivering public art projects which require a quick turn-around time and small financial contribution within City of Prospect boundaries.
Applications may be submitted throughout the year.

Council offers funding of 50% of the cost of conservation works, and up to $2,000 to owners of properties that are heritage list and/or within the Historic (Conservation) Zone.
Applications may be submitted throughout the year.

Small grants of up to $750 are available for residents to close-off their street and conduct a Street Party.
Applications may be submitted throughout the year.


GRANTassist  

Local businesses, community organisations, clubs and individuals are also able to apply for grants from the State Government. GRANTassist provides the community with access to current information on State Government assistance and programs relevant to Community Groups, Clubs and Individuals.
