City of Prospect Main North Road & North East Road Investment Strategy
In February 2018, Council saw an opportunity to attract private sector development by adopting and Investment Action Strategy. A strategy was created for Main North and North East Roads, in order to assist the Main North Road Masterplan.
In particular, the Investment Attraction Strategy has sought to identify:
- Drivers for private sector development,
- The value proposition for local investors, overseas investors, businesses and property owners
- Development of a staged strategy for investment linked to targeted public realm upgrades
With a focus on commercial development opportunities, but with some residential development also, the strategy aims to frame the area as an Investment Corridor with a focus on seven key Anchor Precincts.
