Flying the Flag

Rainbow Flag  

Since 2014, Council has flown the rainbow flags at St Helens Park during the FEAST Festival as part of the Flying the Rainbow Flag - Celebrating Diversity project. The rainbow flag is also flown in May as part of IDAHO Day, and the Eureka flag from 29 November to 3 December in remembrance of the Eureka Rebellion each year.

Mobility just got easier!

  The RECHARGE Scheme™ services encourage a more accessible and welcoming experience for people who use an electric mobility scooter or wheelchair out and about. Prospect's Civic Centre, Town Hall and Library now all have designated areas for people to recharge their mobility device’s battery.
