Prospect Fair 2012

‘There’s sure to be something for everyone, so I encouraged all local residents to come along, bring your family and friends and enjoy all there is to love about the Prospect Fair’ - Mayor David O'Loughlin

In keeping with a much loved local tradition (for over 30 years), Prospect’s beautiful St Helens Park will again be the venue for the annual Prospect Fair from 10am-4pm on Saturday 17 March 2012.

The Fair is a family focused fun day, showcasing the services, sporing, community and educational clubs and organizations we proudly acknowledge as the backbone of the community of Prospect.

This year’s Fair ‘colour’ is emerald green to acknowledge that we are sharing our event with St Patrick’s Day.

A great range of stalls, including food, drink, home made items, community information and entertainment will be showcased and event organisers promise something for everyone.

The Fair’s annual bright banners at the entrance to the Park will again be on display to commemorate 2012 as Australia’s National Year of Reading. To celebrate, the 2012 Prospect Fair banner theme is ‘Prospect: a city of readers’.

The annual Prospect Fair is a highlight of the Prospect community’s calendar of events and is for many groups their principal yearly fundraiser to support their activities and/or members. Come along and support those who support you.

City of Prospect this year welcomes a new Principle Sponsor, Bendigo Bank and Community Sector Banking and gratefully acknowledged their generous support of this well-loved community event.
