Council Vision
An environmentally aware, sustainably managed, vibrant and progressive City, proud of its heritage, quality of life and sense of community.
In moving forward to being Environmentally Aware Council aims to provide an educative platform through communicative media to highlight the environmental message relating to water, waste, recycling and energy to increase the environmental awareness of our community.
Council will ensure that every aspect of our endeavour will be Sustainably Managed, be it financial, environmental or social and seek to employ best practice in all these things.
Whilst respecting all that we now have and planning to meet the future needs of our community Council will provide the infrastructure and planning processes to continue our growth as a Vibrant and Progressive City, Proud of its Heritage, Quality of Life and Sense of Community.
