Studio

The Prospect Art Studio is the workspace for the Prospect Artist in Residence and is adjacent to the Gallery. The Studio is open during Gallery opening hours and members of the community are encouraged to visit the space, speak with the Artist in Residence and enjoy the atmosphere of a working artists studio.

The studio hosts a range of classes throughout the term including painting, textiles, mosaics and children's art classes. Workshops are held periodically in the Studio. The studio is also an alternative space for small exhibitions. There is a cabinet displaying small works for sale by local artists. Members of the community are encouraged to drop in, relax over a cup of tea or coffee and enjoy the activities available in the studio.
