City of Prospect - Business and Economy - Support for Local Businesses

Support for Local Businesses

Eastside Business Enterprise Centre

Eastside BEC is a small business advisory centre assisting businesses and start-up businesses that operate with the Councils that make up the Eastern Region Alliance of Councils (ERA), within metropolitan Adelaide.

Eastside BEC is proudly supported by City of Prospect and other member councils of ERA, and partially funded by the Australian Federal government.

Services available

Eastside BEC provides a range of one on one consults, seminars, workshops and other training sessions. We also facilitate B2B networking meetings and events with key note speakers who can add value to your businesses bottom line.

We have an active referral service to a local network of legal, financial, human resource and other professionals.

We work closely with City of Prospect to ensure that all businesses in the area are aware of the services available to them through Eastside BEC.

Home based businesses and sole proprietor businesses in particular run the risk of operating in isolation. The centre provides important peer group support and an active networking system to encourage business owners to participate with each other.

Business advisors are however available to meet business owners at their business or at other venues if preferred. Visits can be arranged outside normal business/trading hours.
